SVG Port Authority gives back to its employees and their children through its annual summer program

The SVG Port Authority continues to invest in its employees and by extension their children through its Annual Summer Program initiative which began in 2013. This year, under the theme "Art in Nature", the SVG Port Authority conducted a five-day enrichment program of learning through art, communication and the environment from July 25 - 29th at the Cruise Ship Berth & Ferry Terminal. Forty participants aged 5 - 16 years were involved in arts and craft activities utilizing 'recyclable materials' such as boxes, packaging paper, plastic and glass.

The program was facilitated by the Contemporary Youth Artist Movement (CYAM) and was aimed at reconnecting the participants with the 'Island's Environmental Heritage' in an effort to preserve and conserve it for future generations.

Following the conclusion of the program, the children were able to take home their imaginative and artistic creations. The SVG Port Authority will like to thank the parents, participants, facilitators and employees for partnering with us to make this year's summer creativity program a success.
